How to Register
Rutgers Summer AP Institute is open to prospective, new and experienced AP teachers. You are encouraged to register early as each class size is limited and registration will be accepted on a space-available basis.
The cost of the Institute for non-credit is $900.00 if registration is received before June 1, 2013 and includes lunches and workshop materials. After June 1, 2013 the cost for non-credit is $1025.00.
*There will be a $25 rush book charge for any registrations 14 days or less from the start date of a class*
To register for the AP Institute WITHOUT Graduate credit:
Please go to Course Information and click on the 'REGISTER' button for the AP Institute you would like to attend. You will then be taken to the automated registration system and your AP Institute can be completed in just a few minutes! PURCHASE ORDERS along with credit cards and checks(E-check) are accepted through the checkout process. Registration is not complete until you register online through our system.
To register for the AP Institute WITH Graduate credit:

***For those taking an AP Institute to earn 3 non-degree graduate credits, the deadline to register is June 5, 2013. Late registration is available until June 21, 2013 with additional late fees of $50 assessed. For a three-credit course the tuition for in-state is $1878 ($626 per credit) and $3075 for out-of-state ($1025 per credit). Students also pay a $151.25 student summer session fee. Participants who register for graduate credit will be required to complete an additional written assignment to be submitted in the weeks following the workshop. The AP English Course will be offered through the English Department at Rutgers. Please visit their website for registration information.
Acknowledgement of Enrollment
When your completed registration is received, you will be either enrolled in the course or placed on a waiting list if the course has been filled. In either case, you will receive notice from Rutgers University. Please contact our office if you have not received notification in a timely manner.
A full refund less a $50 processing fee will be issued for cancelations received in writing until 15 days prior to the start date. From 14 days prior, substitutions can be made but refunds will not be issued.
