This seminar is designed for teachers who are new or experienced in the A.P. program; hence, we will focus on both the basic and complex components of both the literature and the language courses. We will read a variety of genres that might be included in an A.P. class, discuss strategies for teaching those genres, develop critical writing assignments, and consider the role that the A.P. exam might play in preparing a syllabus.
