Gerald Gillis

Gerald Gillis currently teaches AP Calculus and Precalculus at James M. Coughlin High School and also teaches as an adjunct instructor at Luzerne County Community College in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Gerald has been teaching over 23 years and loves what he does! Prior to becoming a consultant, Gerald has attended numerous AP Workshops,  AP Annual Conferences, and participated in an online AP Calculus Professional Development Project Study- this project study focused on four curriculum modules that often give students the most difficulty on the AP Exam. Gerald is also a reader for the AP Calculus Exam . Gerald's greatest accomplishments is that all of his students have passed the AP Exam with 96% achieving a 5 in the eleven years he has taught AP.  Gerald and his AP calculus class are featured in the AP Calculus Teaching and Assessing Module entitled “Establishing conditions for theorems and definitions.”
