Karen Coss holds a bachelor's degree in History Secondary Education from Saint Leo University and a Master's degree in social science education from the University of South Florida. She has been teaching since 2001 and has taught various Advanced Placement (AP) subjects since 2004. Coss has been teaching AP Human Geography since 2010 at Land O’ Lakes High School just north of Tampa, FL. She also teaches AP US Government & Politics and AP Comparative Government & Politics.
Committed to course content, Coss has served as a Reader (scoring exams) since 2013 and held leadership positions as a Table Leader and Early Table Leader. She has traveled extensively to further her knowledge of other cultures and was a Korean War Legacy Foundation fellow in 2018.
